Freedom Village at Brandywine tasked Pierson with modernizing the Audio, Video, Lighting, and Curtain Systems in their primary multi-purpose space. The goal was to integrate advanced technology while preserving the classical-contemporary style that residents enjoy. This space serves as a hub for weekly activities, including church services, exercise classes, and evening entertainment.

Centralized Control System

  • Feature: Interactive touch control system for seamless event setup.

    • Benefits: Any resident or staff member can configure the room for an event with the push of a preset button.

    • Location: Installed adjacent to the tech booth for ease of use.

    • Systems Controlled:

      • Performance and distributed audio systems.

      • Stage and house lighting.

      • Video system with a projection screen.

      • Motorized curtains.

Audio Systems

  • Design: Multiple audio systems integrated as one to cater to diverse events.

    • Benefits: Accommodates varying audio needs for church services, exercise classes, and performances.

    • Remote Management: Spire provides off-site support and preset updates.

Lighting Systems

  • Control Stations: Simple button-based lighting controls installed at entrances and on stage.

    • Functionality: Allows effortless management of stage and house lighting.

Training and Support

  • Training: Comprehensive sessions for volunteer residents and staff ensured smooth adoption of the new system.

  • Remote Assistance: Spire supports the system remotely, minimizing the need for on-site technical support.
